SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
Support manufacturing for high quality and low cost operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In possession of end to end product knowledge, able to evaluate changes in process, test and material.
- Release and maintain the product BOM and related technical documents.
- Drive the product yield improvement activities to meet the production target and product lifecycle criteria.
- Responsible for investigating the RMA and write report.
- Drive the cost reduction and quality improvement for the responsible products.
- Manage the product lifecycle, responsible for writing the related documentations and driving the functional review.
- Understand the detail specification of the product, able to communication with customer on the specification changes.
- Set up manual diagnosis station with proper equipments for product failure analysis and rework.
- Train the technicians to have right skill to do product failure diagnosis and rework.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering/Physics/Optical Communications or similar discipline.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- 3+ years experience in working on active components and modules. Working experience of XFP, SFP or Transponder is preferable.
- Deep understanding of optical passive and active components/modules and performance.
- Solid knowledge of fibre communication components/modules test and measurement, result analysis.
- Good knowledge of the digital and analog electronic circuit and systems.
- Good knowledge of Optical Communication systems.
- Solid skills in leading product introduction to manufacture.
- Solid skills in product failure analysis and data analysis.
- Experience of project management is preferable.
EXPERIENCE:
Working experience in an optic_electronic environment is preferable
Broad technical background, particularly in telecommunications, electronics, optics and semiconductors. Experience with RF design and RF components tests is preferable.
