Michael B. Korzenski is director of sustainable technologies at ATMI, where he is responsible for the coordination of ATMI’s sustainability activities, including minimizing hazardous materials usage during new product development and developing external partnerships related to green initiatives to support corporate sustainability. He joined ATMI as director of R&D after leading the program at Advanced Technology Materials Inc. to develop supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) technologies to be used as environmentally benign alternatives to traditional toxic solvent systems in the microelectronics industry. He has a Ph.D. in inorganic/materials chemistry from Clemson University.
