JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: RD Design Engineer
DEPARTMENT: RD
REPORTS TO: RD Manager
SCOPE OF POSITION ( why does this position exist)
1. Research and develop the new circuit topology platform
2. Product line standardization expansion, performance promotion , cost reduction
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (list day to day activities, reports, directs etc…)
· Undertaking the developing product project and preparing the team individual scheme.
· Leading the team to finish the task on schedule and meet the requirements of project specification
· Conforming the principle of design standardization and controlling the product cost throughout the developing procedure.
· Participating in the pilot run of new models, tracking solving the process and manufacture problems
· Ensuring the product quality and preparing the secondary product cost reduction
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE (minimum requirements of the job, cannot be violated)
· Bachelor degree or above, majored in electronics or relevant
· 3~5 years working experience and preferably with electronic field, with switch power supply and Electronic Ballast experience are top-priority.
· High sense of responsibility, self-motivated and good communication skills
· Good command of reading and written English
· Good at engineering design software application and preferably with PSPICE, MathCAD, and other CAD software
· Familiar with ISO9000 system
· Familiar with Project Management Knowledge
