职位一： Components Engineer
PURPOSE目的

Four purposes for the components engineer:
1).Technical support to the electronic design engineer for key components selection especially in active parts
2).Solving the technical problem quickly in production line if there is any components failure in mass production line.
3).Working closely with strategic suppliers to drive increased flexibility and cost reduction for electronic components.
4). Lead electronics component qualification  and support component quality issues across all GBU LEDs line

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

   1).Lead component (mainly on active components, but also include wire-wound ) project as release new components, audit process, manufactory.
2). Responsible for maintain and update the component design, testing, drawing, documentation, etc.
3). Take the responsibility for solve the component quality issue, Communicate with customer and supplier on troubleshooting and corrective action
4).Providing technical support to Design Engineers team with respect to optimal selection and usage of components especially for active components selection
5).Work with purchasing team on supplier qualification and management, include risk assessment
6). Develop component suppliers according to GBU LEDs qualification requirement and provide guidence to improve supplier competency.
7). Lead new local component vendors technical survey and implement corrective actions. •

JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求

a) Professional Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above in electronic engineering or related field.
b) Experience
More than 4 years in component industry as design or quality engineer.
Familiar with latest active component technology trends . General knowledge of lighting technology, familiar with component manufacturing, qualification and reliability evaluation procedures. . Understanding of related electronics industry regulatories(RoHS, HF,UL, IEC etc) •

职位二： System Engineer
PURPOSE目的

The purpose of this role is to ensure the right system architecture is chosen for a LED product by building up a system and modeling system which integrates inputs from all different functions and delivers accurate output for required LED lamps’ performance. This role is critical to a LED R&D team to develop a LED product having the lowest cost and best quality with the most optimized system architecture. This role also has involvement in a product line or portfolio’s technical building block / platform roadmap building up.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

- LED engine system
o LED Engine requirement definition and selection and release for LED lamps’ applications
o Build up LED based system modeling to support LED lamps’ system performance estimation and verification/measurement

- LED lamps’ system architecture
o Define and validate the system architecture, esp. during the feasibility (pre-MS0) stage
o Shall focus on the total system design and optimization (top performance, lowest cost price, and world class reliability). Core is LED Engine selection/ definition, key links of the systems are the light, electricity, and heat flows.

- LED lamps’ technical platform roadmap
o Work together with System Architect, Technical Project Leader, Program Manager and Group Leader in defining the technical building block / platform roadmap for a product line.

- LED lamps system competence
o Scout, benchmark and bring new/emerging technology into our product design in order to improve the performance, lower the cost, and realize new features
o Being an active member in the SSL system architect network within Philips to leverage knowledge (LED Lamp, LSI, Light Lab, Prof Lumi, Cons Lumi…), and actively contribute to these partners/customers.

COMPETENCY / JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求
- MSc/PhD degree in the area of opto-electronics (applied physics of compound semiconductors or electrical engineering)
- More than 1 years working experience in developing LED Lighting products.
- Has a broad technical back-ground in the field of electronics, LED physics, material properties, etc.
- The candidate should be familiar with optical, electrical, and thermo-mechanical issues that are relevant to ensure quality and reliability of LED Lighting products.
- Knowledge in LED Manufacturing is a plus.
- Good communication skills is required
- Problem Identification & Solving skills
- Good command of the English language in both speaking and writing
- Team player

职位三： Senior Optical Engineer
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责
• build up and manage the optical expertise for project groups, which include:
o Translate customer requirements into functional specifications (optical related);
o Select proper optical concept, design and optimize the optical system, define the right materials for the optical system in order to meet performance requirement and/or material regulation;
o Design and organize optical experiments, verify and improve optical design by analysis the measurement data
o Together with mechanical engineer to release optical parts (lens, reflector and etc.) and its tooling together at supplier(s) according to procedure
o Define the component specification and release criteria (including process capability requirement), organize trails, and tests, and deliver release report with analysis and conclusion
• Actively participate and contribute to the optical competence team
o Follow the procedure to maintain and contribute to the optical database of optical designs and optical toolings
o Actively work on and contribute to competences’ programs lead either by optics team or other competence teams
o Scout new optical materials, support and contribute to the new optical materials evaluation and release
o Share the knowledge and learning to the team
o Define new design rules
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics

JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求
• University level education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering
• 2 years above working experience
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein.
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred
• Good team work spirit and  good initiative
• Good oral and written English skills
