New Features
1。A volume detector NSC object has been added. The new detector has a user defined size and number of voxels. The detector stores and displays flux, absorbed flux, and absorbed flux/volume. The volume detector may be nested within other objects to measure absorbed energy in arbitrary shaped solids.
2。Two new NSC objects have been added; the rectangular volume and pipe gratings. These are similar to the rectangular pipe and volume, with added diffraction gratings on all four sides of the object.
3。The ray trace speed for NSC imported CAD files is dramatically faster, as much as 25X faster in some cases. .
4。The general lens update function speed has been increased dramatically for some lenses.
5。ZPL keyword GETLSF gets the geometric line and edge response function data. .
6。The Report Graphic 4 and 6 windows now retain the individual settings for all sub windows when saved as a new report.
7。The NSC bulk scatter DLL now supports up to 16 user defined parameters. .
8。Multi-configuration operand APTP changes the surface aperture type.
9。The optimization operand NSDD now computes the standard deviation of the detector data, which can be used to optimize uniformity. .
10。New ZPL function GETTEXTFILE can call any ZEMAX text generating feature and create an ASCII file with the analysis data.
11。ZPL function $TEMPFILENAME returns a temporary file name. .
12。ZPL function $GETSTRING extracts any substring from a larger string.
13。NSC User defined Objects now support coating/scatter groups marked as diffractive. .
14。The FFT PSF Cross Section now supports a center option.
15。The Image Analysis plot now allows a choice of chief ray or surface vertex reference.
Some improvements were made to the index fitting feature for wavelengths in the deep UV.
