JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

l          Compose Transponder Product feature lists and requirements based on Customer specifications and PLM input
l          Leading Transponder/Transceiver product development from concept to production
l          Keep up with new technologies. Provide the proposal/feasibility study for new product development
l          Provide technical support/consultant to Product Line Management and Customer Teams
l          Work closely with cross-functional teams and global teams
l          As a BU subject matter expert to support all technical issue solutions in both module and component level

LIST QUALIFICATIONS
Provide required and desired qualifications.  Include skills, experience and education.  Indicate Required (“R”) and Desired (“D”) by each qualification.

l          An MS or Phd degree in Optics, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
l          5+ year years working experience in high speed optical interface development, including 10G/40G transponder, XFP, SFP+ etc. and tunable modules of design (R)
l          Experience with Optical component performance for fixed and tunable lasers, PIN and APD receivers, EA and LiNbO3 modulators and VOAs is preferred (D)
l          Experience with Electrical component performance, especially for SERDES, CDR, laser and modulator drivers is preferred (D)
l          Good communication and presentation skills, in both English and Chinese. (R)
l          Strong leadership (D)
l          Good responsibility and initiative (R)
