摘　　要：介绍了西南铝业（集团）有限责任公司压延厂1#厚板精密锯采用激光测距仪代替编码器旋转计数,通过PLC数学模型进行运算,测出纵向长度值,避免了机械连接存在的误差,大大提高了测量精度,取得了良好的效果。
Laser range finder instead of rotary encoder count on the 1 # plate precision saw used in Rolling plant of SWA is introduced in the paper. It is calculated by a mathematical model with PLC to measure the longitudinal length value, successfully avoiding the error of mechanical connection, and greatly improving the accuracy of measurement, achieving good effect.
