If i want to burn through a paper... how many watt’s laser i should use?

u c ,it is difficult to say ,and it is not only the problem how many watt’’s laser you use ,as well as the moving speed and the pulse power of the laser .and general speaking ,it requires quite low power to mark on paper ,less than 10 watt is enough i think.and the pulse power is 3 to 4 kw with the moving speed of 5 m/s (perhaps much slower).and you can just get a marker to do some experiment.:)

Do you have any ideal of making a small and cheap laser cutter? i understand chinese... u got any recommendation?

Do you want to cut paper? What’’s size and speed do you want? And please also tell me the thickness of the paper.
